About these terms
These terms cover your use of skjhomeimprovements.co.uk, run by SKJ Home Improvements Limited (company number 16486651, registered office 2 Caroline Street, West Bromwich, England, B70 8LB). Work we carry out for you is covered by the written quote and contract terms we give you before you agree to anything; if those conflict with this page, the contract terms apply.
Prices and the guide-price tool
Prices on this site, including results from the guide-price tool, are guide ranges for typical homes, shown including VAT where it applies. They are not offers or quotes. Your price is fixed only when we give you a written quote after surveying your property, and it applies to the specification in that quote.
Who your contract is with
When you accept a quote, your contract is with SKJ Home Improvements Limited. The quote sets out the work, the price, the payment stages and the expected timings.
Your right to cancel
If you agree a contract with us at your home or remotely (by phone, email or online), you normally have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. We'll give you the cancellation information and a cancellation form with your quote. If you ask us to start work within the 14 days and then cancel, you pay for the work done up to that point. Goods made to your measurements or specification may not be returnable once ordered at your request.
Our work and your rights
We carry out work with reasonable care and skill, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. If something isn't right, tell us and we'll put it right. Manufacturer guarantees on products are passed to you, with the terms set out in your quote. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
